Are we a society that is so into our own little world that we don't pay attention to others around us? Or how our actions affect others? I went to the gym yesterday and got so disgusted with these two ladies. They were older than me, so it's not like they're young and can claim ignorance. There are four upright stationary bikes. I was on the far left one and another lady was on the 2nd one from the right. This left one in between us and one on the right side of her. These two women come upstairs to the bikes. They take the two remaining bikes; leaving the other lady in between them. Not five minutes into their "workout" they start talking to each other around the poor lady sitting in between them. I seriously shot them a nasty look. I had my music on, so really no skin off my nose. But how RUDE! They could have used any other piece of cardio equipment with two machines next to each other. When the lady in between them finished her cardio, the rude lady next to me moved over to the recently vacated bike so she and her friend could continue their conversation.

Picked this one up because I had just put da little girl down for her nap and didn't want the phone to disturb her. I answered it, "HELLO?" And then this friggin' recorded voice comes on "Please hold." WTF? You call me and then expect me to hold on? I don't think so.
