The Sun

The sun is like a ball of fire that warms us all. The sun is good and bad to us. It is bad because it radiates harmful ultraviolet rays. The sun is good to us because without it we would all be ice, ice, and more ice. Plus the sun also gives light to life and it lets plants make photosynthesis which supplies oxygen to the world.

If you look at the big picture, the sun also makes air pressure which creates wind. This helps plants grow because it spreads their seeds all around the world. One bad thing that wind does is to help fires jump start and continue.

In the center of our solar system is the sun. Some people don't think about it much but the sun is also a star. An amazing fact about the sun is that it can heat us from millions of miles away. Something that I think is really cool about the sun is that it has things called solar flares (sudden bursts of energy) because some you can see with your naked eye. In conclusion, the sun can be good and bad to us all but it's worth it because we would die without it.
