The Boatshow's a-comin!

by Ray 7. January 2009 14:44

On my regular lunch time walk today I went past the docks where the boat show boats are berthed. They'd added a few temporary docks between the regular ones to jam more boats in there. They've also got a bunch of boats grouped together where the dinghy's usually are. Still didn't seem like very many boats were in there.

We've got tickets for Saturday and I'm looking forward to that! It seemed like there are a lot of power boats and only a few sailboats. Also the only real blue water boats I saw were the Island Packets, I can't wait to see those! Actually I can't wait to see them all. Even the power boats are fun to look at. The bigger ones have amazing interiors!

In addition to the IP's I saw some Hunter's, Catalina's, Beneteau's, Santa Cruz's, and a Tartan. From the board walk I could only see one catamaran.

There is a boat show deal with Seaforth Sailing Club that I'll be taking advantage of. I finally got the Commodore's permission to join a sailing club. I think I just finally wore her out... :D Yeah, I can be persistent... I actually think that's a good trait for someone who dreams on this scale.

Biding my time till Saturday,
Seaman Ray
